Unless otherwise stated, ALL products/purchases/destinations I visit are mine/my idea– paid for by me, with my own money. From time to time I will be reviewing products given to me by a PR rep or a company, and at that time I will clearly state that at the end of my post. Free products do not equal good reviews. I review my products honestly and fairly; I am unbiased.

Please understand that sometimes I come across a product/place that actually “knocks my socks off.” I will love it and I can’t help that. This will clearly show when I review said product/place. It is very easy to review something that is spectacular. SOMEtimes I really do love a product, but I will be having a “writers’ block” kinda day. Or it is a product that is very detailed; it contains specific things, or does spectacular things. Sometimes I may not be that great at putting that into my own words, so I will use product info off a company’s website, which I will also clearly state.

I am more than willing to review anything given to me as long as it belongs to one/some of the following areas: Beauty, personal care, fashion, green, natural, organic, free of junk, upcycled, for Latinas, for women in general, and for college students/young professionals. Please don’t hesitate in contacting me if you have questions re: your specific request in case it doesn’t fit in those areas.

I must note I do this as a side thing. I promise anything that is sent to me will be reviewed in a timely manner. Some things, like skincare products, I like to take a little longer with to experience them thoroughly and ensure I can review them properly. I review products in the order that they are received. At the latest, I will have reviews up within one (1) month after I receive them.

An affiliate link is one that directs users to a product or service listed elsewhere on the web. They’re referred to as “Affiliate” because I entered a partnership with that company, which entails that I get a unique link to share with you.

How do I benefit from that?

When you purchase the product or service I direct you to using my unique affiliate link I earn a commission from that company–a small “bonus” for referring you to that company.

And the best part is that you don’t pay an extra penny for this referral–only the company does. You pay the same price as any other consumer, and I get a small payment as a “Thanks” from them from having taken you to that specific page.

Giveaways are open to U.S. residents who are 18 years and older. Residents younger than 18 should ask a parent or guardian to enter on their behalf. Once they’ve asked for a parent’s/guardian’s authorization, they should contact me to let me know in writing.

The prize/approximate retail value is listed on each individual giveaway. Odds of winning the prize is dependent upon the total number of eligible entries recieved. Prizes are limited to one (1) per household.All giveaway winners are selected randomly using the Random.org random-number generator.
