Father’s Day At #BearLake For The BESTEST Dad In The World

And THIS is Bear Lake!!

I have one of those dads who gives everything his all and cares for us in a way that makes me strive to be at least a fraction like him, yet NEVER ever asks for anything (ever!).

Ever…

So when this sweet dad of mine, however, proposed we take a trip up to Bear Lake for Father’s Day, my mom and I gave him his presents (clothes and shoes from her; an espresso machine and a handmade  “10 Things I LOVE About You” mug from me), we packed what we’d need, grabbed the dogs, and an hour later we were all en route to this much-needed mini vacay.

And I have pics to prove it!!

PS: These pics are good. Otherwise I wouldn’t be bothering to post them.
PS2: Neither of the ones below were edited one bit. Both the sky and the water were really that blue! (The lake was a tad cold, however, so I stayed outside hehe.)

Meet Skyler, our new addition, fur baby/brother
That’s one mighty legendary raspberry milkshake. Garden City, the town Bear Lake has its Utah side on (it’s shared w/Idaho as well, fyi) is famous for its raspberries. In fact, it even hosts a Raspberry Days Festival every year!

That’s Sparky, our other fur baby/brother, admiring the view.
Oh those two lovebirds are all smiles about something!

Mama’s boys
Me in my absolute favorite bathing suit. I wear tankinis b/c they’re beyond flattering–not b/c anyone tells me to.
(The Catholic Church certainly doesn’t regulate what we wear, thank God.)
Daddy reading some random sign w/Skyler
OK seriously: Can they get any CUTER?!
People say I get my smile from her… I think!
My mom really wanted me to take pics of her back staring out into the lake…

Now tell me: How did you celebrate Father’s Day? And if you live in Utah, have you ever been to Bear Lake? Where else do you like to go on mini vacations?

You might like these too!
